Dear Friends,

I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and will have a wonderful and meaningful Christmas. What a great year this has been!

I have some important updates, changes and events to announce:

I’m excited to announce that I will be performing at various “Time Out For Women” events around the country next year! For those of you who don’t know what “Time Out For Women” is, please visit their website at Here is a list of the cities I am currently scheduled for:

  • Orlando, FL: Mar 5-6, 2010
  • Pittsburgh, PA: Apr 23-24, 2010
  • Omaha, NE: May 14-15, 2010
  • Logan, UT: Sep 10-11, 2010
  • Phoenix, AZ: Oct 15-16, 2010
  • Las Vegas, NV: Oct 22-23, 2010

I hope to see some of you at these events!

I wrote one of the sections featured in the fun book, “Famous Family Home Evenings,” compiled by Anne Bradshaw. In conjunction with this book she is offering a giveaway contest through her blog at: The prize is a free Prayer CD that I will send to the winner. If you are interested, please click on the link above to see her blog for instructions. But hurry because the contest ends this coming Wednesday, December 9th!

Iím very excited about my upcoming album, Song of Redeeming Love! Our recording sessions have been awesome. The arrangements are gorgeous and the musiciansí playing has been superb! I also recently had an amazing photo shoot for the album design with the incredible photographer, Russ Dixon.

We have encountered a few set backs here and there, which we expect, but things are still moving forward very well. I will be returning to Utah next week to hopefully finish recording my vocals for the album.

There are a few changes I wanted to make you aware of:

  • Deseret Book has moved the release date to April 2010 instead of March.
  • We decided to remove “Savior, Redeemer of My Soul” from the song list, feeling it would be better to have it only available on the Prayer album. The rest of the songs previously listed will all be on the album.
  • In addition to the arrangers mentioned previously who are working on the album I am pleased to also include the brilliant talents of Dave Zabriskie.

I’m excited to report that I had my debut as the Phantom on October 25th in St. Louis! (It also happened to be my wedding anniversary, so it was even more special!) Since then I have played the role three times, each one as thrilling an experience as the one before.

I also have some sad but good news. I have decided to take an extended leave of absence from the tour starting January 18, 2010 (after we close in Ft. Lauderdale, FL) so I can return home to be a full-time husband and father again for a while. Right now, if we still feel good about it as a family and if nothing else comes up, I will return to the tour on June 30, 2010.

We have decided to take down all of my “Phantom of the Opera” performance pictures due to copyright concerns. We apologize to those who hadnít seen them yet, but we know this is the right decision to make. Iíve felt uneasy about having them up ever since we posted them. I will try to post some other photos soon after making sure they donít infringe on any copyrights.

May God bless you all, my friends! As always, thank you for your support, and Happy Holidays!
