NEW ALBUM:
I’m very excited about my upcoming album, Song of Redeeming Love! Our recording sessions have been awesome. The arrangements are gorgeous and the musicians’ playing has been superb! I also recently had an amazing photo shoot for the album design with the incredible photographer, Russ Dixon.

We have encountered a few set backs here and there, which we expect, but things are still moving forward very well. I will be returning to Utah next week to hopefully finish recording my vocals for the album.

There are a few changes I wanted to make you aware of:

  • Deseret Book has moved the release date to April 2010 instead of March.
  • We decided to remove “Savior, Redeemer of My Soul” from the song list, feeling it would be better to have it only available on the Prayer album. The rest of the songs previously listed will all be on the album.
  • In addition to the arrangers mentioned previously who are working on the album I am pleased to also include the brilliant talents of Dave Zabriskie.

“THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA” NATIONAL TOUR:
I’m excited to report that I had my debut as the Phantom on October 25th in St. Louis! (It also happened to be my wedding anniversary, so it was even more special!) Since then I have played the role three times, each one as thrilling an experience as the one before.

I also have some sad but good news. I have decided to take an extended leave of absence from the tour starting January 18, 2010 (after we close in Ft. Lauderdale, FL) so I can return home to be a full-time husband and father again for a while. Right now, if we still feel good about it as a family and if nothing else comes up, I will return to the tour on June 30, 2010.

DALLYNVAILBAYLES.COM:
We have decided to take down all of my “Phantom of the Opera” performance pictures due to copyright concerns. We apologize to those who hadn’t seen them yet, but we know this is the right decision to make. I’ve felt uneasy about having them up ever since we posted them. I will try to post some other photos soon after making sure they don’t infringe on any copyrights.

May God bless you all, my friends! As always, thank you for your support, and Happy Holidays!

Best,
