Dearest Friends,

Life is constantly changing and moving forward in wonderful ways, and I’ve been so grateful for the performances I’ve been able to be part of recently around the country in front of some incredible women! I had the awesome opportunity to sing at two “Time Out For Women” events in Orlando and Pittsburgh, and most recently sang in a concert at BYU Women’s Conference in Provo, UT. To those of you who were in attendance, I thank you for the wonderful spirit you brought and for the opportunity to meet and talk with you! I’m truly amazed and humbled by each of you.

On a personal note, and for those who weren’t in attendance at BYU Women’s Conference, my wife and I have a new little baby boy! Unfortunately, he was born soon after I arrived in Utah so I wasn’t able to be there (thank goodness my mother was!), but I was able to at least be on the phone when he was born and got to hear his beautiful first cry. My wife and I felt I should remain in Utah until after the concert was over, so once that was finished I flew home as soon as I could to be with her and child number four. Everyone is doing great, and now we have a fun story to tell!

As you can see, the past few months have been very eventful and exciting, and I am really looking forward to some major events coming up:

I am VERY excited about my upcoming joint concert with the incomparable violinist, Jenny Oaks Baker! Jenny and I will be performing songs from our albums including a few duets, and maybe a few others. Here are the details:

  • When: Thursday, May 20, at 7:30 PM
  • Where: Libby Gardner Concert Hall, U of U Campus, Salt Lake City, UT
  • Tickets: $12 – to purchase, you can order on-line at, or call (866) 832-8211

Be sure to get your tickets soon as the performance is already selling out!

As I previously announced I will be rejoining “The Phantom of the Opera” tour on May 25 during our 2nd week in East Lansing, MI. I will be staying with them until the tour closes in Los Angeles at the Pantages Theatre either on Nov 14th or 21st, depending on whether they extend a week or not. Here is my final tour schedule:

  • May 25-Jun 6: East Lansing, MI (Wharton Center)
  • Jun 9-27: Dayton, OH (Schuster Center)
  • Jun 30-Jul 25: Atlanta, GA (The Fox Theatre)
  • Jul 28-Aug 22: Cleveland, OH (Allen Theatre)
  • Aug 25-Sep 19: Pittsburgh, PA (Benedum Center)
  • Sep 23-Nov 14/21: Los Angeles (Pantages Theatre)

Please let me know if you are able to come see the show at one of these cities, especially those of you in Pittsburgh whom I met at “Time Our For Women”! I’d love to see you!

I will be taking some time off of tour to perform at 3 other “Time Out For Women” events later this year. I hope to see many of you there! For more information please visit the “Time Out For Women” website. Here is my schedule:

  • Sep. 10-11: Logan, UT
  • Oct. 15-16: Phoenix, AZ
  • Oct. 22-23: Las Vegas, NV

I have been featured in a few news articles and interviews recently that I’d love to share with you:

  • Cherie Call’s “New Music Show”: my friend and the brilliant singer/songwriter, Cherie Call, interviewed me over the phone for her internet show. I had a great time talking with her about family, performing in “Phantom,” and my new album “Song of Redeeming Love.” To listen to the interview, click here.
  • Mormon Times
  • Times-News (Magic Valley – Twin Falls, ID)
  • LDS Living

For those of you who haven’t purchased one or both of my inspirational albums, please visit my website ( to listen to and order yours today! They are also available for purchase on iTunes and on the Deseret Book website or at any Deseret Book or other LDS bookstore.

For those of you who already have a copy of these albums, I would really love to hear from you! I have an on-line survey about the “Prayer” album that I’d love for you to fill out (click here to fill out the survey). A survey for “Song of Redeeming Love” is forthcoming.

Also, I would REALLY appreciate it if you took a moment to fill out a review on iTunes and the Deseret Book website for both albums! Thank you in advance for your time and help with this. It is very helpful to me to know how you feel about the music, and for others to know as well.

May God bless you all, my friends! As always, thank you for your support!
